The Intersex Pride Flag was created in July 2013 by Morgan Carpenter of Intersex Human Rights Australia to represent intersex individuals and raise awareness about intersex rights and visibility within the LGBTQ+ community and society at large.

The flag consists of a yellow background with a purple circle placed in the center. The yellow background represents a non-binary or neutral gender, reflecting the diverse range of sexes and genders among intersex individuals. The purple circle symbolizes wholeness and completeness, signifying that intersex people are perfect and complete just as they are.
